Makis Alefragkis was born 1988 in Athens Greece

Began playing the drums at the age of ten, and at sixteen years old he
started playing professionally as a session musician for various Greek
artists.

Studied at MMS ATHENS where his teacher and personal mentor Spiros
Dorizas, showed him the way to his evolution and professional drumming
career.

Participated in classes with world class drummers such as, Thomas Lang,
David Garibaldi, Ray Luzier, Walfredo Reyes Jr and Jeff Bowders.

At age eighteen he had his first big break with top-notch Greek singer and producer, Christos Dantis. (2004 Eurovision winner and songwriter)

A member of numerous bands exploring different styles of music. Some of those styles being, electro style with Shapeless (signed with Warner Bros), fusion rock with Power Trio FOKO and blues with Black Door.

Tours the world for shows all over the United States of America and Australia

Graduated from Preston University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Technology

Currently Makis is proudly working as a professional session drummer for the well-established Greek singer Nikos Oikonomopoulos and Drum instructor at saint Paul’s private school
