Born from a small village in Hampshire, England, James Compton has become a widely in-demand professional drummer working with some of the best current and up and coming Pop & R&B artists in the UK.
Most recently touring worldwide with UK popstar Mimi Webb, which has seen him play stages all over the globe, James has worked with an eclectic array of artists including, Ella Eyre, Jax Jones, Col3trane, Lolo Zouaï, Baby Queen, Barny Fletcher, to name a few.
Since the age of 16, James has been touring internationally and has performed on some of the world’s biggest stages, including Wembley Stadium, and many arenas and festival main-stages around the UK, Europe and America. James has also been seen playing on multiple TV shows including, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Stephen Colbert Show, The Graham Norton Show, X Factor, and many more alike, as well as Performing on the BBC Radio1 live lounge twice.
In 2022 James had the pleasure to perform at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with Mimi Webb, which was watched by 13.2 million people worldwide.
